News India Live, Digital Desk: One of the most important railway stations of South Bihar, Gaya Junction But the ‘Mega Block’ of 20 days has started from Monday. Due to reconstruction and technical upgrade of rail track on Platform No. 1, there has been a major change in the operation of trains from April 27 to May 16.

Changes in routes and platforms of major trains

Platform-1 will remain completely closed during the mega block, which may cause inconvenience to passengers. Railways has announced the following changes:

1. These trains will run from Manpur Junction instead of Gaya.

Due to ongoing work at Gaya Junction, ‘Manpur Junction’ has been made a temporary terminal:

15619 (Gaya-Kamakhya Express): This train ran from 28 April to 16 May instead of Gaya. Manpur Junction Will start its journey from.

15620 (Kamakhya-Gaya Express): This train will not come to Gaya from 27th April to 16th May and Manpur Junction It will end its journey only here. (Note: Passengers will have to make their own travel arrangements between Gaya and Manpur)

2. These trains will not come to Gaya Junction (diversion)

Some important trains will be run through alternative routes, due to which they will not stop at Gaya station:

03253 (Patna–Charlapalli/Chopan TOD): Diverted from 27 April to 16 May.

03254 (Charlapalli–Patna TOD): Diverted from 29 April to 14 May.

03255 (Charlapalli–Patna TOD): It will run on the changed route from May 1 to May 14.

3. Platforms of premium trains including Rajdhani changed

Due to closure of Platform-1, all premium trains on Howrah and Delhi routes will now platform number 2 Will be operated from:

Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani

Ranchi-New Delhi Rajdhani

sealdah capital

Kolkata Rajdhani

Jodhpur Express and Doon Express

Changes in timings and coaches of MEMU trains

This news is important for daily commuters, especially students and working people:

63245/63289 (Patna–Gaya–Dehri MEMU): This train is now from Patna 100-105 minutes delay Will depart from.

Reduction of Coaches: To ensure availability of racks, coaches have been reduced in many trains, which may increase crowding:

13349/13350 (Singrauli–Patna Express): Instead of 20 coaches, now only 18 coaches Will go with.

13243/13244 (Bhabhua–Patna Intercity): This will also operate with 18 coaches.

53213/53214 (Patna–Gaya Fast Passenger): The effect of reduction in the number of coaches will also be visible on this.
