Questions arising on security and promptness of police in Jharkhand

Even though justice has been served in this case, cases of crimes against women have been reported in many parts of Jharkhand in recent times. Opposition parties have also cornered the government regarding this. However, the police administration claims that they are committed to punishing the criminals as soon as possible through ‘fast track’ courts. In recent times, speedy sentencing in many such cases has further strengthened public confidence in the justice system.
