According to sources, this threatening e-mail was received on the official mail address of the assembly. Using extremely objectionable language, the e-mail claimed the presence of explosives inside the premises. As soon as the officials of the Secretariat and the Assembly got wind of this, the police headquarters was immediately informed. Immediately, all the entry gates of the Assembly were sealed and the employees and people present inside were evacuated safely. Dog Squad and Bomb Disposal Squad took charge. After receiving the threat, special teams of Patna Police are conducting intensive search operations inside and outside the Assembly premises. Every corner of the garden, parking area, canteen and hall is being searched. Although the police have not recovered any suspicious object so far, no risk is being taken from security point of view.
