News India Live, Digital Desk: We often see in some Netflix web series or Hollywood movies that some people dig a tunnel under the bank with great planning or cut the wall to reach the safe. But what happened in Germany brought the film script into real life. Such a vicious robbery has taken place in a bank here which is being counted as the ‘biggest robbery of the century’.

Didn’t show gun, didn’t scare anyone

In common robberies, we have often seen that the robbers enter making noise with the help of weapons. But the method of this theft was completely different and cold. The robbers made a hole in the strongest wall of the bank with a high-tech drilling machine. No one even realized that the most secure place of the bank, i.e. the ‘vault’, was being watched by an outsider with his own eyes.

One more night and Rs 300 crore cleared!

By the time the bank staff arrived in the morning and understood the matter, it was too late. It is reported that the robbers had escaped with gold, silver and precious cash worth about 35 million dollars (about more than 300 crore Indian rupees). Looking at the safe, it seemed as if the thieves had a complete map of every nook and corner of the bank. The way the drill machine was used made it clear that the thieves were not raw players.

Was there any inside help?

Now the biggest question that is arising is on security arrangements. How did the robbers enter the place which was considered as strong as ‘steel’ by the whole world? Why doesn’t the security alarm go off? Or was a ‘house spy’ behind this robbery who had given them complete information about the sensitive parts of the bank? The German police is now busy solving this mystery.

Alert across Europe

After the loot of such a huge amount, there has been a stir not only in Germany but also in the neighboring countries. It is being suspected that this gang of robbers could be of international level. At present, the bank has been sealed for security check and forensic experts are searching for evidence that may have been left near the drill machine marks and the empty safe.
