News India Live, Digital Desk: The election temperature in Bihar is sky high and as the date of voting is coming closer, the speeches of the leaders are also becoming more sharp. In this series, Prime Minister Narendra Modi entered the election field of Sitamarhi and fiercely cornered the opposition on the issue of ‘Jungle Raj’. Referring to the first phase of voting, he said that those who were dreaming of bringing back the old era in Bihar, the public has already given a strong shock of 65 volts in the first phase.

‘This is Modi, he will not let the Constitution be harmed’

PM Modi’s speech from the land of Sitamarhi was not limited to just promises, but he also made sharp attacks on the opposition. He accused the opposition of spreading lies regarding the ongoing debate on the issue of reservation and constitution. The PM said in his familiar style, “These people say that if Modi comes, the Constitution will be changed. Listen with open ears, even if Baba Saheb Ambedkar himself comes, the Constitution cannot be changed. This is Modi, he will give up his life but will not let the Constitution be affected.”

Again reminded of ‘Jungle Raj’

In his speech, PM Modi repeatedly mentioned the old era of Bihar, which was called ‘Jungle Raj’. He asked the people, “Do you remember those days? When ransom was demanded for buying a car? When it was difficult for daughters to leave the house? When the game of kidnapping and ransom started in the evening?” He said that these are the same people who were looting Bihar in the era of lanterns, whereas the NDA government has worked to illuminate every house in Bihar by providing LED bulbs.

‘The one who looted will have to return it’

PM Modi also took a tough stance on the issue of corruption. Without naming anyone, he said that those who looted Bihar will have to return every penny. He said, “When I take action, these people shout. But this Modi is not afraid. Those who looted the country will have to go to jail.”

This speech of PM Modi clearly shows that BJP and NDA are making ‘Jungle Raj’ versus ‘Good Governance’ their biggest election issue in this election. Along with enumerating the development works, he has tried to give the message to the people by reminding them of that old period that if the opposition comes to power, Bihar can once again return to the same dark period.
