If you have a degree or diploma in engineering and are looking for a good government job, then you have a great news. Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has invited applications for recruitment to 413 posts of Junior Engineer (JE).
Candidates who have qualification for these posts, are the official website of APPSC psc.ap.gov.in You can apply online. The process of applying will start from October 17, 2025 and its last date is November 7, 2025.
How many posts in which department?
This recruitment is being done for different government departments of Andhra Pradesh, such as:
- Road and Building Department: 121 posts
- Water Resources Department: 241 posts
- Public Health and Municipal Corporation Engineering Department: 51 posts
Who can apply?
To apply for these posts, the candidate should have a LCE Diploma or BE/B.Tech degree in the concerned engineering trade. Talking about the age limit, the age of the candidate should be between 18 and 42 years. The age will be calculated on the basis of July 1, 2025. However, candidates of reserved classes will get age relaxation as per government rules.
How will the selection be?
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination. There will be two papers in this exam:
- First paper: General Studies and Mental Ability (150 marks)
- Second paper: Related Engineering subject (eg Civil/Mechanical) (150 marks)
A total of 300 marks will be tested by mixing both papers.
How much is the application fee?
- For general category candidates: Rs 250 (application fee) + 80 rupees (examination fee)
- For SC, ST, BC, and East Saints: only Rs 250 (examination fee is forgiven)
