News India Live, Digital Desk: Demon Rule in Bihar: A recent brutal gang rape case in Gaya district of Bihar has shocked the entire state. Political reactions to this terrible incident have also intensified. In this episode, senior leader of Rashtriya Janata Dal RJD and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the Central Government and the State Government of Bihar, which is being led by Nitish Kumar.

Tejashwi Yadav called the incident as “demon raj” and directly linked it to the deteriorating law and order situation during the reign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He raised the question that while the Bihar government claims good governance, why such heinous incidents are putting serious question mark on the safety of women. Tejashwi said that it is not just a crime, but the failure of governance that gives criminals an audacity to commit such acts.

The RJD leader has constantly reiterated that the current government, whether at the center or in the state, has failed badly to ensure the safety of citizens, especially women and girls. His statement of ‘Danav Raj’ is directly in retaliation for the government’s ‘Jungle Raj’, which has often been made by BJP and JDU on the RJD rule.

Tejashwi immediately demanded justice and insisted on punishing the culprits severely. This sharp response to the opposition to this incident is also causing a stir in the political scenario, especially before the upcoming elections, where law and order will remain a major issue. This unfortunate incident, whose seriousness makes the whole society shocked, has now become the focal point of Bihar’s political debate.
