News India Live, Digital Desk: New Opportunity for Youth: The ‘Agneepath Yojana’ launched by the Indian Army has paved a new and modern way to join the army for the youth of the country. The soldiers admitted under this scheme are called ‘Agniveer’. By 2025, the salary package and various benefits related to the fireworks under this scheme are being clarified, which will help them and their families to make the future outline.

Monthly Salary and Package:
Agnivars are provided an attractive monthly salary during the 4 -year service period. In the first year, the fire will be given about Rs 30,000 per month to the fire, out of which a certain part (eg 9,000 rupees) will be deposited in their ‘Agniveer Corpus Fund’ and the government will add the same amount to it. In the second, third and fourth years, this salary will increase to Rs 33,000, 36,500 and 40,000 per month respectively. During this entire period, his contribution to Agnivir Fund will increase, and the government will have the same contribution.

‘Seva fund’ package:
After the completion of the four -year service period, the fireworks will get a large ‘Seva Nidhi’ package. This package will include the total amount contributed by Agnivir, interest received on it and the amount contributed equally by the government and its interest. This total amount can be around Rs 11.71 lakh, which will be income tax free. It is an important amount that they can use in their further studies, starting business or in any other skill development program.

Future career path and other benefits:
The ‘Agneepath Yojana’ is a short-term service scheme, which means that all the Agniveers will not be selected for permanent service after 4 years. However, about 25% of Agnivirs can be admitted to the Indian Army as a permanent cadre based on their performance, physical efficiency and medical fitness. The remaining 75% of the firecrows, which will come out with the service fund package, will be given priority in various government departments, public sector undertakings and private industries. For this, the government is also providing them with skilling courses, entrepreneurship schemes and bridging courses to easily adjust them to civilian life. In addition, during service, the fireworks are also provided with many types of allowances, insurance covers, holidays and other facilities.
