Knowing the earnings, your senses will fly away! These ‘modern’ girls used to earn thousands of rupees everyday by begging

For the past few days, there was a scene on the streets and intersections of Bareilly, which forced every visit to and forced to think. Wearing jeans-t-tshirts, talking well and 9 girls in a good house were begging. Seeing them, anyone could easily cheat that they are perhaps a college students who are doing so for a project or fun.

When the discussion of these modern ‘beggars’ became common, the matter reached the police and child welfare committee. When the officials caught these girls and questioned them, the reality that came out was no less than a film story.

All these girls were from Rajasthan and from the same community, whose ancestral work is to be begging. The shocking thing was that she used to earn from 1000 to 1200 rupees every day by begging. Their dress and way of talking were part of a strategy, so that people can consider them as helpless and give them money easily.

The police have left them by warning at present, but the incident has surprised the people of Bareilly and also raised the question whether it is part of a big organized gang.
