- Now click on “Download Aadhaar”.
- The PDF file you will find is safe from the password. Open it using the first four letters of your name (in capital) and then your year. For example, ravi1990.

People who like mobile apps, download the Maadhaar app. Login with your Aadhaar number, request OTP and follow similar stages. It still works when the UIDAI website gets stuck, which is more often than you.

You can also choose to download a masked version, which shows only the last four digits for privacy. UIDAI advises to share your base carefully. You can also temporarily lock your base to prevent misuse and use virtual ID for safe login.
