PM Kisan Yojana: If the installment of ₹ 2000 is water, then deal with these 3 important tasks before May 31, otherwise the money will be stuck!

PM Kisan Yojana
PM kisan yojana:

PM kisan yojana: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana) is an important economic support for crores of farmers of the country. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 6000 is given to eligible farmers every year in three equal installments i.e. ₹ 2000 per installment. The 16th installment of the scheme has been released in February and now farmers are waiting for the 17th installment.

However, for the next installment coming to your account without any interruption, the government has made certain conditions mandatory. If you do not complete these 3 important work till 31 May 2024, then you may have to be deprived of the next installment of ₹ 2000. Let’s know what are those three important tasks:

  1. Complete e-KYC:

    • It is mandatory to get e-KYC done to continuously get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana.

    • Farmers can go to the PM Kisan Portal (PMKISAN.GOV.IN) and get e-KYC in a biometric manner through Aadhaar based OTP or by visiting their nearest Common Service Center (CSC).

    • This ensures that the benefits reach the right beneficiary and prevent fraud.

  2. Get land verification done:

    • It is also mandatory for farmers to get their agricultural land verified.

    • For this, farmers will have to contact the Agriculture Department Office or the Revenue Officer of their area and submit the necessary documents.

    • This process ensures that the benefits of the scheme only get the benefits of those farmers who have truly arable land.

  3. Link the bank account to NPCI (Aadhaar Seeding with Bank Account for NPCI):

    • The bank account of the beneficiary farmers is also necessary to be associated with the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) i.e. Aadhaar Seeded.

    • Through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), money is sent directly to your Aadhaar bank account.

    • Farmers can check this by going to their bank branch or through online banking and can get it done if there is no link.

Why are these things important?

The government has made these procedures mandatory to bring transparency in the scheme and ensure that the benefits reach only eligible farmers. The next installment of farmers who do not fulfill these conditions can be stopped. It has also been seen in the previous installments that the names of many farmers were removed from the list for these reasons.

Therefore, if you are the beneficiary of the PM Kisan Yojana and want to get the next ₹ 2000 installment without any hassle, then you must complete the three works mentioned above till 31 May 2024. For more information, PM Kisan can visit the portal or contact his nearest agricultural office.
