Pressure from new companies

Hyundai also lagged behind in the EV segment.

Although Hyundai recorded an increase of 654 percent in the sales of electric vehicles in April, the number was only 686 units. At the same time, Tata, MG and Mahindra are launching strong electric cars in this segment.
