Scams do not leave a single chance to cheat people. The scamsters always search for new ways to cheat people and make money from them. For this, fake calls are made sometimes and sometimes fake messages are sent. The messages sent by the scamsters sometimes contain attractive offers and sometimes a free gift is lured. Due to all these things, people fall prey to the messages and calls of fraudsters.

A message is still going viral on social media. This message gives people the greed for free AC and asks them to click on the link. This message also claimed that these AC are being provided by the government. This message was shared with an Instagram account.

A message is going viral on social media, claiming that the Government of India is distributing 1.5 crore 5-star air conditioner free under PM Modi AC Scheme. The message claimed that the scheme will be implemented from May 2025. The message states that the Ministry of Power has already built 1.5 crore AC. People were asked to follow a specific account and spread the message to others.

This viral message has now been rejected by the government’s fact check team. However, the government has completely rejected this claim. A post has been shared on the official X account of PIB Fact check. This post states that this claim is completely false. The post reads, “A post going viral on social media claims that the government is providing 5-star AC free under PM Modi AC Scheme 2025. This claim is false.” It was also said that the Ministry of Energy has not announced any such scheme. Therefore, no one should trust such messages.

Such false messages are often spread to confuse people and steal their personal data. Often their purpose is to increase traffic or promote fake accounts on unknown websites. People fall prey to such messages and have to suffer a lot.
