In the new year 2025, CSD prices of India’s best 7-seater car, Maruti Ertiga have been revealed. On the Canteen Stores Department (CSD), the soldiers have to pay only 14% GST instead of 28%, which makes them save great savings. According to Cars24, the CSD price of Ertiga’s LXI variant is Rs 7.89 lakh, while its civil ex-showroom price is Rs 8.69 lakh. In this way, customers get a tax benefit of 80 thousand rupees on this variant. There are 8 variants available on CSD, which can save up to 94 thousand rupees.

About CSD

The CSD (Canteen Stores Department) is the only government -owned enterprise under the Ministry of Defense of India. Cities like Ahmedabad, Bagdogra, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Mumbai across the country have 34 CSD depots. Ertiga provides a 1.5-liter petrol engine, which generates 103PS and 137Nm torque. There is also a CNG option available in it. The mileage of the petrol model is 20.51 kmpl, while the mileage of the CNG variant is 26.11 km/kg.

It has features like paddle shifters, auto headlights, auto air conditions, cruise control. The Ertiga now gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system instead of a 7-inch touchscreen unit, which is equipped with Suzuki’s smartplay Pro technology. It supports voice commands and connected car technology, which includes facilities such as tracking of car, toe alert, geo-fencing, over-speeding alert, and remote function.
