Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stone of Rs 31 crore in Nalagarh

Shimla, 15 December (HS). Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various projects worth Rs 31 crore in Nalagarh assembly constituency of Solan district. The Chief Minister inaugurated the drinking water scheme constructed at a cost of Rs 7.24 crore for Mittian, Behli, Khallar and surrounding areas.

He also inaugurated seven tube wells for Nalagarh constructed at a cost of Rs 5.22 crore and upgradation projects of drinking water schemes in various areas of Nalagarh at a cost of Rs 4.82 crore.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of three bridges including Kotla Kalan Bridge to be constructed at a cost of Rs 5.77 crore, Retar Khad Bridge to be constructed at a cost of Rs 4.44 crore and Bhatauli Khad Bridge to be constructed at a cost of Rs 3.51 crore.

Reiterating the commitment of the state government for the development of Nalagarh assembly constituency, the Chief Minister said that there will be no dearth of resources for development here. He said that the present government is giving priority to equitable development in the entire state and every possible effort is being made for the welfare of the people.

Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu flagged off two ambulances donated to the District Red Cross Society. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the donors for their generous contribution and honored them for this noble work.
