Varanasi, 15 December (HS). Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) of Varanasi Commissionerate, Dr. K. Egilarson organized a Jan Chaupal in a lawn located in Lohta Bhatti village on Sunday. Villagers from nearby villages also reached Janchoupal with complaint letters regarding various problems.
In Janchoupal, a complainant woman told JCP that the elder son coaxed the two sons and got their share of the land donated in his name. JCP listened to the woman and assured appropriate action. Most of the issues in Chaupal were related to electricity, sewer and water. JCP Dr K Egilarson said that a team of police department has been formed to resolve the complaints coming in Janchoupal. Which is forwarding the complaints to the concerned departments by coordinating with other departments. He said that we will ensure that the complainant is satisfied in the next seven days. He said that we are taking feedback from the plaintiff until he is completely satisfied. Along with officers of Electricity Department, Water Department and Revenue Department, DCP Varuna Zone Chandrakant Meena, ADCP T Saravanan, Lohta Police Station Incharge etc. were also present in the Chaupal.
