Maharashtra Politics: The ongoing speculations regarding the face of the Chief Minister in Maharashtra have come to an end. BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis will take oath as Chief Minister on December 5. However, in the meantime, the probable list of who will become ministers in the new cabinet has also come out.
According to information received from sources, there are two proposals to take oath as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister in Maharashtra tomorrow on 5th December. The first proposal is that there will be one Chief Minister and two Deputy Chief Ministers. Only these three people will take oath on December 5. The second proposal is that the Chief Minister and two Deputy Chief Ministers and some ministers will take oath. By this evening it will be decided how many people will take oath for the new cabinet of Maharashtra. The biggest news is that the posts of Assembly Speaker and Legislative Council Chairman will remain with BJP. The post of Assembly Deputy Speaker will be with NCP and the post of Vice Speaker Shinde will be with Shiv Sena. Today at 3.30 pm the leaders of Mahayuti will go to Raj Bhavan and stake claim to form the government.

Cabinet meeting will be held immediately after swearing in
The first meeting of the State Council of Ministers will be held immediately after the swearing in tomorrow and the date of the special session of the Assembly will be decided and informed to the Governor. A special session is likely to be held from 7 to 9 December. Then the first winter session of the government can start in Nagpur from 16th December, preparations for which have already started. Painting work has also started everywhere at the ministers’ residence, the Chief Minister’s residence, the residences of both the Deputy Chief Ministers.
