Punjab Police: Amritsar Counter Intelligence has arrested two smugglers belonging to an international gang in a major operation against illegal arms smuggling. These accused were caught by the police when they reached to deliver the delivery to the customer. A case has been registered against the accused in the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC).
8 modern pistols have been recovered from the accused. DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the police has carried out this operation in Noorpur village under Gharinda of Amritsar. Here both the accused were waiting for the customer to make the delivery but the counter intelligence had already got the information after which a trap was planned and prepared.

2 Jigna .30 bore pistols
10 live cartridges
Police have registered an FIR against these people under the Arms Act in the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC), Amritsar. Investigation is going on, in which the networking behind these is being ascertained. Police say that soon other members of this gang will also be arrested.
