Ranchi, 23 November (Hindu). Counting of votes for 81 seats of Jharkhand Assembly has started from 08 am today. Counting of votes begins at 8 am amid tight security at all 24 centers in the state. First of all the postal ballots are being counted.
Supporters of all parties and candidates have started gathering outside the counting centre. Everyone is queuing up to enter the counting centre. People are being allowed entry only after thorough investigation.
On the other hand, at the counting center in Pandara, Ranchi, Union Minister of State Sanjay Seth and other leaders encouraged the BJP counting agent workers, applied tilak and sent them inside the polling centre.
State Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar said on Saturday that counting of votes has started in the counting centers set up in 24 districts of the state.
