Korba, 14 November (Hindustan Reporter). Police have arrested the accused in the incident of molestation and threatening to kill a girl in Korba. The incident is about a year old, when the victim used to go to her relative Dayal Kenwat for tuition. The accused placed a knife on the girl’s neck and threatened to kill her and also made a video of the same.
The accused Dayal Kenwat (30) has been arrested by the police. Police have also seized the mobile phone and knife used in the incident. The accused has been sent on judicial remand today on Thursday.
Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Korba Siddharth Tiwari, the police team has taken prompt action in this matter. Police station in-charge Civil Line Rampur inspector Pramod Dansena and outpost in-charge CSEB sub-inspector Laxman Prasad Khunte had received necessary directions for the arrest of the accused. The matter has been investigated by registering a crime in the police post CSEB police station Civil Line Rampur district Korba.
