New Delhi, 17 October (Hindustan Reporter). The Ministry of External Affairs has said that the ousted former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has been living here since coming to India.
In the weekly press conference of the Ministry of External Affairs, spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that Sheikh Hasina had come to India with a very hasty request and since then she has been living in India. The spokesperson did not say anything else regarding Sheikh Hasina.
It is noteworthy that a Bangladesh court has issued an arrest warrant against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and 45 others. They are accused of committing crimes against humanity.
The Ministry of External Affairs has said that Foreign Minister S. No issues including cricket were discussed with Pakistan in Jaishankar's recent visit to Islamabad. The spokesperson said that statements have been issued related to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting during the Foreign Minister's visit to Islamabad. Apart from SCO, the Foreign Minister has had bilateral talks only with Mongolia.
