Kishanganj, 14 October (Hindus). A young man drowned in the Mechi river flowing through Mirabhitta village under Barchaundi Panchayat of Pauakhali police station area of Thakurganj block of the district.
According to the information received, the youth's name is Azim, father Pashiruddin, age 28 years, resident of Mirabhitta. As soon as information about the matter was received, Paukakhali police reached the spot. On Monday, the SDRF team arrived and started searching for the youth who had drowned in the river. Local people also kept trying to find the drowned youth.
During this time, the news gradually spread in the area and public representatives of the area also reached the spot. Hundreds of crowd gathered on the river bank. According to the information received from Panchayat head representative Birendra Prasad, no trace of the drowned youth could be found. Continuous investigation is going on by the SDRF team. Giving information in this regard, Pauakhali police station incharge Ashutosh Kumar Mishra also said that the investigation is going on but till now no clue has been found.
