If you write this on your vehicle, you will be fined this much, know the rules

Traffic Rules: You must have seen many types of vehicles moving on the road in which different poetry, slogans are written or words related to religion and caste are written on the number plate. People spend lakhs of rupees on number plates to make them look fancy. But do you know that doing all this can cost you heavily under the Motor Vehicle Act. If you have written something on the back of your vehicle or on the name plate, then be careful today, otherwise you may have to pay a challan.

What is the rule?

Writing objectionable words on a vehicle is a violation of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. In such a situation the driver can be challaned. Under the Act, 1988, it is illegal to write words or put any sticker related to caste or religion on vehicles.

How much fine will have to be paid?

If religion, caste or any objectionable word is written on your vehicle, then you may have to pay a fine of up to Rs 1,000. In the Motor Vehicle Act of 2023, writing anything related to caste or religion on the number plate of the vehicle has been declared completely illegal. For doing this you may have to pay a fine of up to Rs 5,000.
