New Delhi, 10 October (Hindustan Reporter). There is a wave of mourning in the country due to the demise of the country's famous industrialist Ratan Tata. He breathed his last at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai late on Wednesday night. He was unwell for a long time due to age-related diseases. Many political personalities including the Prime Minister and the Home Minister have expressed grief over his demise.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written on social media that Ratan Tata was a visionary business leader. He was a kind soul and an extraordinary human being. PM Modi further wrote that Ratan Tata earned his place among many because of his humility, kindness and an unwavering commitment to improving our society.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah posted on Twitter, 'Deeply saddened by the demise of veteran industrialist and true nationalist, Ratan Tata ji. He selflessly dedicated his life for the development of our nation. Whenever I met him, his enthusiasm and commitment for the betterment of India and its people amazed me. His commitment to the welfare of our country and its people gave birth to millions of dreams. Time cannot take away Ratan Tata ji from his beloved country. He will live on in our hearts.”
