Ranchi, 02 October (HS). The police of Khelgaon police station have arrested three criminals of the gang who snatched mobile phones on the pretext of doing so in the city. These include Abu Talim alias Balak, Taufik alias Sonu alias Jhaga and Sultan Ansari alias Tetu alias Rocky of Sadar police station area. Two mobile phones along with a snatched iPhone have been recovered from them near Booti Mod and Khel Village.

Khel Village police station in-charge Chandrashekhar Singh gave this information in a press conference on Wednesday.

In this regard, Chandrashekhar Singh said that on Tuesday, the mobile phone of Sudhanshu Prasad, a resident of Rajrappa at Booti Mod, was taken out on the pretext and Abu Talim alias Balak and Taufik alias Sonu alias Jhaga had snatched it. During this time, Sudhanshu had caught Abu Talim and handed him over to the Khel Village police. Whereas Taufiq alias Sonu alias Jhaga had run away with his mobile. After the arrest of Sonu alias Jhaga, Sudhanshu's mobile was recovered from the bush near Kishunpur Mosque. During interrogation of the arrested accused, the iPhone snatched from near Khel Gaon Chowk one and a half month ago was recovered from the house of Taufik alias Sonu alias Jhaga in Kishunpur. Even before this, Abu Talim alias Balak has gone to jail from Sadar police station in the chain snatching case, while Taufik alias Sonu alias Jhaga has gone to jail from Chutia police station area in the Narcotics Act and chain snatching case from Sadar police station.
