Dehradun, 08 March (HS). To overcome the shortage of medical faculty in government medical colleges, 20 assistant professors selected in the waiting list of Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board will be posted soon. Departmental Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has approved the posting.
In view of this, State Medical Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the state government is continuously making efforts to overcome the shortage of faculty in the medical colleges of the state. In this sequence, the government has approved the posting of 20 assistant professors selected in the waiting list of Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board provided by the government. Soon, orders will be issued for the appointment of assistant professors selected from the government level in government medical colleges. Out of this, maximum 07 assistant professors will be posted in Government Medical College, Dehradun.
Similarly, 05 assistant professors will be posted in Government Medical College, Almora, 04 in Government Medical College, Haldwani, 03 in Government Medical College, Srinagar and 01 in Government Medical College, Rudrapur. Earlier, the Medical Education Department had sent the requisition for 339 vacant posts of Assistant Professors of various faculties in various government medical colleges of the state to the Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board, against which 171 Assistant Professors of various faculties selected by the Board were provided posting in the medical colleges. done.
After this, Assistant Professors will be posted on 20 vacant posts of various faculties in medical colleges. With the deployment of these selected assistant professors, on one hand the educational activities in medical colleges will be smooth and on the other hand patients will be able to get better treatment in hospitals.
Medical Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. Rawat said that 100 percent faculty will be deployed in the Government Medical College, the state government is working in this direction. The appointment of 20 assistant professors selected in the waiting list available by the Medical Services Selection Board has been approved, soon they will be posted in various medical colleges.
