Sirsa, September 9 (HS). The special team of Cyber Crime Police Station constituted by Superintendent of Police Vikrant Bhushan, after gathering important clues, has arrested two accused of cyber fraud of about 98 lakh rupees from Jaipur city of Rajasthan.
District Superintendent of Police Vikrant Bhushan said that the arrested youths have been identified as Chandrabhan son of Prithviraj resident of Maujgarh (Abohar) Punjab and Jatin son of Jaiprakash resident of Nohar, Rajasthan. He said that both the accused have been produced in Sirsa court and taken on two-day police remand for interrogation. Superintendent of Police Vikrant Bhushan said that during the remand period, while both the accused will be questioned about this fraud network, the amount of fraud will also be recovered on their information.
He informed that in this regard, a case was lodged in Cyber Crime Police Station Sirsa on 8th August and investigation was started. He informed that Vishal, Rajendra, resident of Shastri Colony of Sirsa city and Deepak, resident of Rupana village of Sirsa were cheated of about 98 lakh rupees during the months of June and July by making them download an application called KCL in the name of earning huge profits in the name of share market.
Superintendent of Police Vikrant Bhushan said that to solve this case, a special team was formed under the leadership of Cyber Crime Police Station in-charge Sub Inspector Subhash Chandra and orders were given to investigate. The Superintendent of Police said that the accused taken on remand will be questioned in detail and strict legal action will be taken against anyone found involved in this network of fraud.
