Atlanta, 05 September (HS). A 14-year-old student opened fire at Georgia's Apalachee High School on Wednesday, killing four people. Nine people were injured in this firing. Among the injured are eight students and a teacher. The police investigating officer has said that the local law enforcement officials had also questioned the accused suspect student about a year ago in connection with the online threat of firing.
Chris Hosey, director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, said the dead included 14-year-old Mason Shermerhorn and Christian Angulo, 39-year-old trainer Richard Aspinwall and 53-year-old Christina Irimi. Barrow County Sheriff Jude Smith said the injured were taken to the hospital. On this incident, the White House has said that President Joe Biden has been informed about the shooting. It is noteworthy that about 1,800 children study in this high school. This school is located in a rural area about 40 miles northeast of Atlanta city.
