Ludhiana: Case against dairy owners for pollution of Budha Darya
In the matter of polluting the water by throwing garbage by some dairies located around Budhe Darya in Ludhiana, Police Station Division No. 7 Police has registered a case against 7 dairy owners. This action was taken on the complaint of Phillaur Bandh Sub Divisional Officer.
Police informed that during the investigation, action was taken against the owners of the following dairies: Romi Dairy, Surinder Kumar, Dharam Gujjar Dairy, Mangal Dairy, Bunty Dairy, Manga Sehgal, Bhushan Dairy, Johnny Dairy and Sonu Dairy. The water has become seriously polluted due to these dairies dumping garbage into the Budhe River.
SHO Janak Raj, who is investigating the case, said that on the basis of the complaint by the Phillaur Band sub-division officer, a case has been registered under various sections of the BNS Act and further investigation has been started.
