The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has confirmed that the 21st installment of Pradhan Mantri-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be released on November 19, 2025. On this day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer Rs 2,000 directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers.

The scheme has been running since February 24, 2019, and each eligible farmer family receives an annual assistance of ₹6,000. So far, a total amount of more than ₹3.70 lakh crore has been distributed through 20 installments to more than 11 crore farmer families across the country.

Which farmers will get the money?

Although the 21st installment will be released on November 19, some farmer groups may face difficulty in receiving this amount. This also includes those farmers whose e-KYC is still incomplete. If your Aadhaar and bank account are not linked, your installment payment may be delayed. So, if you have not completed your e-KYC yet, get it done immediately.

Apart from this, some farmers from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand will not get Rs 2,000 on this day, as their 21st installment has already been released in these states.

Which farmers can benefit?

To avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, farmer families will have to register the details of their agricultural land on the government portal. Furthermore, their bank accounts need to be linked to their Aadhaar card so that the funds can be deposited directly into their bank accounts. The government periodically runs campaigns at the Panchayat and village levels to ensure that more and more land owners are eligible for the scheme and are verified.

How to do e-KYC?

E-KYC (Digital Identity Verification) is an important part of this scheme. You can complete your e-KYC in three ways:

OTP based e-KYC: An OTP will be sent to your bank or Aadhaar number; Verification can be completed by entering this.

Biometric e-KYC: Your identity is verified through a process like fingerprint scanning.

Facial Recognition based e-KYC: Verification of your face is done through video calling or camera.

If you want to check whether your installment is due or you have not received it yet, follow these steps:
