Zewar Airport work will be completed before September 2024: Durga Shankar Mishra

Gautam Buddha Nagar, March 15 (HS). The 19th board meeting of Noida International Airport Limited (NAIL) was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra. On this occasion, NIAL officials said that the work of Jewar Airport will be completed before September 2024.

In this meeting, the Chief Secretary gave instructions to coordinate with all the agencies and complete the work on time. The progress made regarding the development of Noida International Greenfield Airport, Zewar was presented in the board meeting.

Chief Executive Officer Noida Airport Dr. Arun Veer Singh presented the agenda before the board. In this presentation, the Chief Executive Officer said that as per the development plan for the project by SPV Yamuna International Airport Private Limited of the developer Zurich Airport, the development work of the terminal building, ATC and runway is in progress by the EPC contractor Tata Project for the development of the airport. Progress was presented through presentations and videos.

He informed that the work of Zawar Airport will be completed before September 2024. The development program of Xaver Airport was also presented through a presentation. NIAL officials informed that installation of navigation and surveillance equipment at the airport has started and the connectivity of Jewar Airport with Yamuna Expressway will be completed by April 2024.

Principal Secretary Industrial Development, Secretary Finance, Director Civil Aviation, Nodal Officer of NIAL were present in the meeting, while CEO Noida and CEO Greater Noida participated through video conference.
