New Delhi: Sanjib Wajed, son of the ousted Prime Minister of Bangladesh, has accused the Yunus government of manipulating the judiciary to quench its thirst for blood. He further said that they want to take revenge not only from my mother (Sheikh Hasina) but from all the members of Awami League.
Sheikh Hasina is currently taking refuge in India. Yunus government has demanded his extradition to India through a diplomatic note. Whereas India has not given any answer in this regard. In this connection, Wajed has made these allegations against Yunus government in the post.
“Judges and government prosecutors appointed by the unelected Yunus government have brought ridiculous legal proceedings by the International Criminal Tribunal against Sheikh Hasina and Awami League members,” he wrote in his post on Tuesday. This is nothing but a witch-hunt (thirst for blood).
He further wrote: This proposal amounts to a violation of the fundamental principles of justice. This is a conspiracy to destroy the entire Awami League.
