Minister of State for Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, Sports and Law and Legislative, Government of Haryana, Gaurav Gautam said that our Constitution is the largest written constitution in the world. This is a matter of pride for all our countrymen. Our youth should have complete knowledge about the Constitution. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has played an important role in drafting the Constitution of the country.
Gaurav Gautam, Minister of State for Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, Sports and Law and Legislative, Government of Haryana, was addressing everyone present there, including the youth, as the chief guest at the function organized to commemorate the 75th Constitution Day at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium on Tuesday. In the ceremony, live telecast of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s address from the state level function on the occasion of 75th Constitution Day was also shown and narrated. A short film based on Constitution Day was also shown to the people through a projector.
Earlier, Minister of State for Sports Gaurav Gautam inaugurated the Baab Sahib Dr. B.R. established in Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Government High School, Sallagarh. Tried to pay homage to Ambedkar by garlanding his statue. On this occasion, Hodal MLA Harindra Singh, District Deputy Commissioner Dr. Harish Kumar Vashishtha and Additional Deputy Commissioner Akhil Pilani also offered garlands on the statue of Baba Sahib amid chants of Amar Rahein. After this, Minister of State for Sports Gautam Netaji participated in the Constitution Swabhiman Padyatra taken out till Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium.
Addressing the program organized at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium, Minister of State for Sports Gaurav Gautam, while wishing everyone on the 75th Constitution Day, said that our Constitution works to bind about 140 crore countrymen of different castes and religions in the thread of unity. The law of the country operates on the basis of our Constitution. Minister of State for Sports Gaurav Gautam administered the oath on the Preamble of the Constitution to the attendees.
On this occasion, Hodal MLA Harindra Singh, while congratulating on the Constitution Day, said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar created the Constitution keeping in mind the interests of all castes, religions, youth and women of the country. Let us give our full cooperation in the development of the country by following the path shown by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Harish Kumar Vashishtha explained the meaning of each word of the Preamble of the Constitution and informed the youth about the importance of Constitution Day. On this occasion, officers, employees, students and other people from all departments including SDM Jyoti were present.
