Youth from Karnataka reached Kanpur IIT under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat

Kanpur, March 03 (HS). The fourth phase of Yuva Sangam is taking place under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's concept of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. Kanpur IIT was selected as the nodal institute from Uttar Pradesh. Under this, the youth of the Central University located in Kalaburagi, Karnataka reached IIT Kanpur on Sunday. These students will stay here for five days and learn about the subject.

IIT Kanpur was selected as the nodal institute from Uttar Pradesh for the fourth phase of Yuva Sangam under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB).

Media in-charge Bhavisha Upadhyay said on Sunday that the fourth phase of Yuva Sangam is being organized by the Government of India under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. He said that Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat has been conceptualized by the Prime Minister with the aim of creating a rich and continuous cultural connect between the different states/union territories of India. Yuva Sangam, having diverse festivals at its core, is a continuous cultural exchange from one state to another, in which the participants share various aspects of life, natural landforms, developed sites, various institutions, recent achievements, Youth connect with other states of the country for 5-7 days through contact and tourism. Through this Sangam, participants acquire multidimensional experience and knowledge based on the five 'P's' in areas like tourism, tradition, progress, interaction and technology.

IIT Kanpur has been selected as the nodal institute from Uttar Pradesh for the fourth phase of the programme. The institute is affiliated with the Central University of Kalaburagi, Karnataka. On Sunday, the youth representatives from Karnataka, comprising about 43 students and 2 faculty/staff members, reached Kanpur early in the morning and will stay here till March 7.
