Palamu, March 29 (HS). A youth carrying weapons in the forest of Chunga Bansdih of Ramgarh police station area has been arrested with a country-made barrel gun. The accused has been identified as Khirod Parhiya (40).
Police station in-charge Nilesh Kumar informed on Friday that on Thursday at 2 pm, secret information was received that a person with a weapon was going somewhere in the forest of Chunga Bansdih with a weapon. The information was verified by recording it. When the team went to the forest with the force, on seeing the police vehicle, the young man got scared and started running towards the forest, who was chased and caught with the help of the armed forces. Later, he was identified through interrogation. When asked for arms license, he could not provide any documents and did not even give a satisfactory answer. In such a situation, he was arrested on charges of possessing illegal weapons and sent to Medininagar jail on Friday.
