Youth arrested in social media viral photo with weapon case, weapon recovered

East Champaran, 18th May (H.I.S.). Chakia Police has arrested a youth with a country-made pistol in connection with making a photo with a weapon viral on social media.

Police conducted a raid on Saturday under the leadership of Chakia DSP Satyendra Kumar and arrested Karan Kumar (20), son of Bacha Singh, resident of Bhuvan Chhapra village of the police station area. It is told that the arrested Karan accepted the viral photo during interrogation. . The police have also recovered a country-made pistol and a live cartridge from Karan.

In this regard, Chakia DSP said that the arrested youth has been sent to judicial custody. Chakia Police Station Head Arvind Kumar, Additional Police Station Head Seema Kumari, Inspector Sunil Dutt and armed forces were included in the raid team.
