Jind, 15 December (Hindustan Reporter). On Sunday, a young man ended his life by hanging himself in a tea stall in the new grain market of Safidon Nagar. The deceased has been identified as Sonu (32), resident of Khansar Chowk Safidon. Family discord is said to be the reason behind the suicide. Informed the police about the matter. After receiving the information, the city police reached the spot and removed the body from the noose and kept it in the city civil hospital.
According to the information received, Sonu, a resident of Khansar Chowk of the city, used to run a tea shop by setting up a kiosk in the new grain market for the last two years. On Sunday morning around 8 o’clock, he came from home, went inside the kiosk and ended his life by hanging himself. When someone came to the kiosk to offer tea etc., he saw that Sonu was hanging. He informed this to the nearby brokers, family members and police. A large number of people gathered at the spot. Within some time Sonu’s family members reached there. The family members were in a bad condition, crying. City police station also reached the spot.
Police inspected the spot, removed the body from the noose and took it to the civil hospital. The mother and wife of the deceased Sonu, who reached the new grain market, accused each other and held each other responsible for Sonu’s death. It is said that Sonu was somehow supporting his family by running a tea shop in the new grain market. Due to family dispute, he was living in a rented house at Khansar Chowk of the city with his wife and one year old infant daughter. In this case, IO Subhash said that on the basis of information, when he reached the spot, he found that a young man named Sonu was hanging in the tea kiosk. Action will be taken as per rules in this matter.
