Banaskantha: An incident has come to light in Disha of Banaskantha district where a young man, unable to bear the separation from his girlfriend, ended his life by swallowing acid. Before taking the final step, the young man made a video on his mobile and expressed his love. On the basis of which the police have detained 4 people.
According to the information received in this regard, a youth named Bharat living in a village in Disa taluka was in a love relationship with a girl from his own community. A year ago, Bharat had eloped with Sagira with the intention of marrying her.
In this case, the relatives of the minor filed a complaint of kidnapping and the police arrested both of them. After which Bharat was jailed, while Sagira was sent to Nari Ashray Grih in Palanpur.
After being released from jail on bail, Bharat went to a women's shelter and tried to meet his girlfriend. However, Bharat was often threatened by 4 members of the society. They were also threatening to kill the girl from the Balika Grih.
So Bharat made a video and swallowed acid demanding strict action against the 4 people who had repeatedly threatened him and his girlfriend. So he was shifted to Palanpur Government Hospital for treatment in critical condition. Where during treatment, the young man died on the hospital bed in the afternoon.
Before taking the final step, the youth made a video on his mobile phone. In which he told that four people are threatening to kill him and his girlfriend and said, “My girlfriend is suffering in Nari Ashray Grih. I cannot see her sad. So I have decided to cut short my life.” At present, Disa Taluka Police has registered a case and detained 4 people and is taking further legal action.
