Andhra Cricket Association has announced a reward of Rs 25 lakh to India’s rising young all-rounder Nitish Reddy for achieving his maiden Test century. Reddy put the Indian team in a strong position by scoring this brilliant century against Australia in the fourth Test match being played in Melbourne. Till the end of the third day’s play on Saturday, Nitish Reddy was at the crease after scoring 105 unbeaten runs.
Reddy’s historic innings
Thanks to this inning of Nitish Reddy, the Indian team has scored 358 runs for 9 wickets in reply to Australia’s huge score of 474 runs. His incredible innings not only rescued the team from a difficult situation but also established a milestone in his career.
