Bonus for weight loss: These days a company is in the news which has come up with a unique offer for its employees suffering from obesity. The company is giving bonuses to its employees for losing weight. This unique company is located in Guangdong province of China and its name is Insta360. According to the report, under this scheme started last year, many people have earned money by losing weight. So far 150 people have participated in it and they have lost a total of 800 kg. After losing weight, the company distributed a total of Rs 1 crore as bonus to all the employees.
According to the report, this plan of the company works like a 'weight loss boot camp'. Each camp is of 3 months duration and has a total of 30 employees. So far 5 such camps have been organized. Although, a large number of employees working in this company have applied under this scheme, but only those who are obese have been selected. In each camp people have been divided into 3 groups which include two groups of 10-10 people and a separate group of 5 people.
For every half kg weight lost an employee gets Rs 4593, but if any member of their group gains weight, then none of the group members get the reward, instead they get Rs 5700 and are fined.
Last year, a man named Lee, who joined this scheme, said that he got two benefits from this scheme, first, his health improved and secondly, he also got additional income with it. Lee said that to lose weight, he swam and also played basketball.
Apart from this, he also paid attention to his food habits, as a result of which his weight decreased by 17.5 kg and in return he got a bonus of Rs 85,000 from the company. When this unique weight loss plan of the company went viral on social media, people there also praised it a lot.
