Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the first budget of Modi 3.0 today. Meanwhile, she has given a gift to those who are getting their first job. The Finance Minister has made a big announcement during the budget. According to the Finance Minister, those who become EPFO nominees for the first time will get a monthly salary of up to Rs 15,000 from the government. This salary will be paid through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
While presenting the budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that employment-related skills will be promoted under the Prime Minister's package. These schemes will be introduced on the basis of enrollment in EPFO. For the first time, the central government will focus on working employees. One month's salary will be given on joining the workforce in all formal sectors. Those whose salary is Rs 1 lakh per month will get this benefit.
Let us tell you that more than 2 lakh youth will get the benefit of this scheme launched by Finance Minister Sitharaman. To avail the benefits of this scheme, the income of the person should be up to Rs 1 lakh. In short, the youth who get a job for the first time and register with EPFO will get the benefit of this scheme. More information related to this scheme will be shared by the Finance Ministry soon.
According to the information given by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Rs 15,000 of the first salary will go directly to the accounts of the youth through DBT. However, the youth will get this amount in three installments. This scheme is a part of the 'Prime Minister Package: Employment Related Incentives' scheme.
