A heated debate was witnessed in the Lok Sabha between BJP MP Jyotiraditya Scindia and TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee. Kalyan Banerjee took a jibe at Scindia and said, ‘You are a good looking man but you can also be a villain.’ Kalyan Banerjee did not stop here, he told Scindia, ‘You are a lady killer.’ After which a heated argument was seen between the two leaders.

Kalyan Banerjee said that ‘Scindia is a great Maharaja, that is why he considers everyone small.’ On this Scindia said, ‘You are making personal comments. My name is Jyotiraditya Scindia. I will not tolerate it if you lie about my family. no one will.’ However, seeing the uproar increasing, Kalyan Banerjee apologized for his statement but Scindia said that I do not accept the apology.

Kalyan Banerjee said, my intention was not to hurt Scindia or anyone. Kalyan Banerjee apologized. After which Union Minister Scindia stood up and said that we all have come here to contribute to nation building. You should criticize policies but not make personal comments. Everyone comes with self-respect. He apologized but I do not accept this apology. He has insulted the women of the country. When Kalyan Banerjee started speaking, an uproar started. Due to the uproar, the proceedings of the House were adjourned till 5 pm.

Women MPs protested

Now politics has heated up on this statement of Kalyan Banerjee. According to the information, women MPs of BJP have planned to file a complaint against Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiran Rijijuthi Kalyan Banerjee. Women MPs allege that Kalyan Banerjee has made personal remarks against Jyotiraditya Scindia. MPs demand that Kalyan Banerjee should be dismissed.

Demand to suspend Kalyan Banerjee

Women BJP MPs have demanded suspension of Kalyan Banerjee for the rest of the current session.
