Aarey-Varey has a twin beach. On one side is Aare, which means we welcome you, in the middle is a bridge, and on the other side is Vaare, which means we go to you. How to reach here:
This is the historical fort of Shivaji. There is a temple of Bhagwati in it, that is why it is also called Bhagwati Fort. This fort, with an area of more than 120 acres, was built during the Bahmani period. In 1670, Shivaji Maharaj won it from Adil Shah of Bijapur. The Arabian Sea and Ratnagiri port can be seen from here. Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak is the nearest airport to reach here. The nearest railway station is Konkan.
