Salman Khan black buck hunting case: Police have arrested three accused in the murder case of former Maharashtra minister and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Baba Siddiqui and three are still absconding. Lawrence Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility for the murder of Baba Siddiqui. According to reports, Baba Siddiqui has been murdered due to his closeness to Salman Khan. Meanwhile, former Rajya Sabha MP and BJP leader Harnath Singh Yadav has advised Salman Khan to apologize to the Bishnoi community.

BJP leader Harnath Singh Yadav wrote on the social media platform 'X' that, 'Bishnoi community considers the deer as a deity and worships it. You hunted him down, due to which the sentiments of Bishnoi community have been hurt. He should apologize to the Bishnoi community for his big mistake.

What is the deer case?

In the year 1998, during the shooting of the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', Salman Khan had gone hunting in Jodhpur with his co-actor. On the night of 27 and 28 September 1998, a deer was hunted in Ghoda Farm House. The blame was leveled on Salman Khan.

On October 1, 1998, at around 2 am, the sound of gunshot was heard in Kankani village of Jodhpur. When the villagers reached the spot, they saw that two deer had been hunted. The villagers saw a gypsy running away. Salman Khan was first arrested in this case on 12 October 1998. After spending five days in jail, Salman was released on bail from Jodhpur jail on 17 October 1998.

On April 5, 2018, Salman Khan was convicted in the deer poaching case and sentenced to 5 years in jail. On April 7, 2018, Salman Khan got bail on a bond of Rs 50,000 and was released the same day.
