ATM withdrawal charges: It is common for customers to get net banking and debit card i.e. ATM card with opening an account in any bank. Nowadays people prefer to withdraw cash from ATM instead of going to the bank. Account holders can withdraw cash from any bank's ATM, but the thing to be kept in mind is that for this also different banks have set a limit of free transactions from another bank's ATM.

What will be the charge for cash withdrawal from ATM?

In June 2022, the Reserve Bank of India ordered banks to charge customers Rs 21 per transaction in addition to the monthly ATM card fee. It is worth noting that the first five transactions from your bank's ATM are absolutely free for customers. While a limit of three transactions has been set for other banks in metro cities. While in non-metro cities this limit is five withdrawals. For doing more transactions than this, you will have to pay a maximum fee of Rs 21 per withdrawal. This rule has come into effect from January 1, 2022.

Know about the charges for withdrawing money from SBI ATM-

State Bank of India offers 5 free ATM transactions up to a monthly balance of Rs 25,000. And for withdrawals above this, you will have to pay Rs 10 plus GST per transaction. At other bank ATMs, you will have to pay Rs 20 plus GST. If your monthly balance is more than Rs 25,000, you can withdraw cash from the ATM as many times as you want for free.

Know about PNB ATM withdrawal charges-

The country's second largest government bank PNB gives its customers the facility of 5 free ATM transactions in both metro and non-metro cities. After this, you will have to pay Rs 10 plus GST for withdrawing cash from PNB. Whereas in other banks you will have to pay Rs 21 plus GST.

Know about HDFC Bank withdrawal charges-

HDFC Bank, a big private sector bank, also allows its customers to make 5 free ATM transactions in a month. Whereas in other banks in metro cities, this limit is 3 transactions. After this, you will have to pay Rs 21 plus GST per transaction.

Know about ICICI Bank withdrawal charges-

Like other banks, ICICI Bank has also set a limit of 5 transactions from ICICI Bank ATMs and 3 transactions from other banks' ATMs. After this, customers will have to pay Rs 20 per withdrawal and Rs 8.50 for non-financial transactions.
