The game of food adulteration and fake products is so widespread in the country that you are always at risk of health related problems. The latest case is from Bulandshahr in UP, where the administration and food safety department took major action and banned synthetic milk in the district. And cracked down on synthetic cheese makers, and also raided the warehouse of chemicals used in making fake milk.
At present, the wedding season is going on, due to which the demand for cheese increases significantly, the game of making fake milk and cheese using chemicals is quite old. Food safety officials also seized a huge quantity of skimmed milk powder, 20 tins of refined oil, saccharin, white paste and milk flavour. Apart from the material for making fake milk, three adulterants accused were caught from these secret warehouses.
How is fake milk prepared?
Information has been received from the officials present on the spot that 500 liters of fake milk can be prepared with just one liter of chemical. This is a method by which fat is controlled so that the machine cannot capture it. To make the fake milk as sweet as the real one, synthetic syrup which had expired two years ago was used. These food products were being supplied in Delhi and NCR. On December 4-5, when the Food Safety Department raided three places in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, it was found that businessman Ajay Aggarwal had invented a formula to make fake milk and cheese by mixing many chemicals.
Disadvantages of drinking fake synthetic milk
Fake synthetic milk is extremely harmful for health as it is made using many chemicals like detergent, urea, refined oil and white powder. Not only does it lack natural nutrients, but the chemicals present in it can be toxic to the body.
