Lucknow, 13 December (Hindustan Reporter). Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Prayagraj is looking forward to making Mahakumbh 2025 a global symbol of Indian culture and unity. To make Mahakumbh grand, Yogi government is organizing roadshows across the country and inviting people to participate in it. In this series, Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge) Jayendra Pratap Singh Rathore and Minister of State (Independent Charge) Aseem Arun led a grand road show in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The ministers met Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and invited the public to participate in the Mahakumbh.
During this, while addressing the press conference, the ministers said that about 45 crore pilgrims, sadhus and tourists are likely to come to Mahakumbh 2025. Many important efforts are being made towards making Mahakumbh a clean, healthy, safe and digital Mahakumbh, which includes single-use plastic free campaign, plantation of three lakh trees and arrangement of 101 smart parking spaces for the convenience of tourists. In health services, 24-hour deployment of doctors has been ensured by setting up 100-bed hospital and small hospitals.
Ministers said that during Mahakumbh, arrangements for showering flowers on 44 permanent ghats and a 15.25 km long riverfront has been constructed on the lines of Mumbai’s Marine Drive. Attribute based cameras, RFID wristbands and GPS tracking technologies will be used for crowd management.
The ministers described Maha Kumbh as a symbol of Indian cultural and spiritual consciousness and described it as a unique celebration of India’s unity in diversity. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this event will take India’s cultural heritage to new heights at the global level. He said that the Yogi government is sending invitations to all the states of India and the whole world for Mahakumbh-2025, the great festival of Sanatan Indians. In this context, we have come with a humble request to you that you must participate in this holy pilgrimage.
