Lucknow, 08 October (Hindustan Reporter). Yogi government will now run Save Trees campaign quarterly after planting 36.80 crore saplings. This campaign will run from October 3 to January 14. On Tuesday, Forest, Environment, Zoological Park and Climate Change Minister Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena launched the quarterly 'Save Trees' campaign at “Soumitra Forest” located on the banks of Kukrail river. He also observed the trees planted in Soumitra forest.

Forest Minister will inspect the districts

The Forest Minister said that Save Trees Campaign is being organized quarterly from October 3 to January 14. Under this, the work of maintenance and protection of the trees planted under the Tree Planting Campaign will be done. He directed the officials to take special care of all the trees planted in the entire state, because these trees have been planted in the name of mother and there is nothing greater than mother in the world. He said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he himself will visit the districts and see the condition of the planted saplings. Negligence will not be tolerated at any level in this.

During this, Principal Chief Forest Conservator and Head of Department Sudhir Kumar Sharma, PCCF Wildlife Sanjay Srivastava, MD Forest Corporation Sunil Chaudhary, PCCF Action Plan Ashok Kumar, General Manager of Uttar Pradesh Forest Corporation Sanjay Pathak, CCF Lucknow Division Renu Singh etc. were present.
