This time the Yogi government of the state will illuminate the ghats and ponds with 12 lakh lamps to make Dev Deepawali divine and grand. In this, lakhs of lamps will be made of cow dung. The government has already declared it a provincial fair to give Dev Deepawali a divine and grand look. Divine laser show and green fireworks will also be organized on Dev Deepawali.

Nearly three lakh lamps will be made from cow dung

This year, more than 12 lakh lamps will be seen glowing on more than 84 Ganga Ghats, Kunds and ponds of Kashi through public participation and by the Yogi Government. Tourism Department Deputy Director Rajendra Kumar Rawat said that out of the 12 lakh diyas, 2.5 to 3 lakh will be made from cow dung. Lamps will also be seen burning on the sand across the Ganga. Due to this, the sand area of ​​Ganga in the eastern region of the Ghat will also be completely illuminated. Apart from this, the Ghats will be cleaned and the historical Ghats standing for centuries on the banks of Ganga will be illuminated with facade lights and electric lights.

Green fireworks will also be visible

Deputy Director Tourism said that the story of Ganga Avtaran and Shiva Mahima will be shown on the ghat through laser show. A pollution free green fireworks show will also be held on the sand across the Ganga, which will give the message of environmental protection. Tourists from all over the country and abroad come to see this unique view of Kashi on Dev Deepawali. Hotels, guest houses, boats, barges, boats and cruises etc. all become full on Dev Deepawali.
