The Yogi government has decided to appoint more than one thousand Kumbh Mela friends to help and provide a better experience to the devotees and tourists visiting the Maha Kumbh. The process of their selection has begun. All of them will also be given skill training so that the devotees and tourists can share their positive experience of Uttar Pradesh with the people of their state.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, work is being done continuously on a war footing to organize Kumbh in a divine and grand manner. Under this, the Yogi government is making special arrangements for more than 41 crore devotees and tourists coming from the country and abroad. So that they can share the good image of the state with them while returning to their destination. For this, on the instructions of CM Yogi, the Kumbh Mela administration decided to appoint Kumbh Mela friends and volunteers on a large scale.
Kumbh Mela Officer Vijay Kiran Anand said that the process of selection of more than 1000 Kumbh Mela friends and volunteers is going on in the fair area. After this, everyone will be given skill training to work in adverse conditions in the fair area. For this, the Mela Authority has issued an RFP. Not only this, more than 6000 police personnel will also be given skill training to behave well with the tourists.

The Yogi government will deploy these Kumbh Mela friends and volunteers outside the fair area as well. The Kumbh Mela friends deployed in and outside the Kumbh Mela area will do the work of showing the way to the devotees in the area, carrying heavy bags of elderly devotees when needed, reuniting lost devotees, helping devotees at the ghats, making devotees aware of cleanliness in the fair area, getting treatment for sick devotees, cooperating with the police in case of an accident, helping in improving the traffic system and assisting in crowd management, etc.
